Open only During Heritage days

These places are usually closed to the public, they are open especially for you during Heritage Days.

Discover the Covered Market backstage with Cognac Ville d’art et d’histoire.
Free, at place d’Armes on Sunday at 2.30, 4.00 and 5.30pm.

Thanks to Cognac ville d'art et d'histoire you will be able to visit parts of the Covered Market of Cognac which are usaully closed to the public

Private town house in the medeival part of Cognac, Hôtel Bernard de Javrezac

Hôtel Bernard de Javrezac, the owner Mr Carnus welcomes you in his beautiful town house situated in the old part of Cognac

We suggest you a selection of visits especially for kids  :

Guided tour of Château de Bouteville  and in the main room wooden games are waiting for the little ones.
Free, at Bouteville Castle on Sunday from 10.00am to 12.00pm and from 2.00 to 6.00pm

How flour is made ? Discover the authentic watermill of Bassac, and taste home-made crêpes !
On Saturday and Sunday from 10.00am to 6.00pm.

During Sustainable development day at  Châteauneuf sur Charente workshops are organized for kids
Free, at Bain des Dames on Saturday from 2.00 to 6.00pm

Samplerman at Martell Foundation

La Petite Maison du Lin à Lignières Sonneville

Master of alternative comic strip  Samplerman  presents workshops for kids and teenagers at Martell Foundation.

La Petite Maison du lin introduces you to weaving, spinning and lace-making.

Staying indoor during the week-end ? No way ! European Heritage Days take also place outdoor on Destination Cognac !

Visit la Font qui pisse, listed Natura 2000, during a commented walk of two hours.
Free, at parking of the new cemetry Fontaury on Saturday at 2.30pm (walking shoes recommanded).

Fisheries in St Simeux

The vintage ride, heritage bicycle ride to discover some of Destination Cognac treasures. Three tours are suggested by Espace découverte en pays du Cognac and Atelier 124.

Visit of  Gensac La Pallue marsh by Culture Loisirs of Gensac La Pallue.

11th Symposium of Julienne, come to see the artists put the finishing touches to their monumental sculptures.
Free, at place Michel Feuillâtre on Saturday and Sunday.

Visit St Simeux fisheries,  barge trips and discovery of eels traditional fishing.
Free, at ile des Moulins on Saturday from 11.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30 to 6.00pm, on Sunday 10.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30 to 6.00pm
